I think you have nailed it my Sister, even though I would like to think that the man is seeking Christ, he did say he was involved in homosexuality for awhile before he was caught. Since Ted Haggard was flying under the radar for that long, while he was in a pulpit preaching hot and heavy against homosexuality. I would be hard pressed to believe that he is a changed man.
Let's look at it like this, Ted Haggard is a professional speaker and showman.
He was having homosexual relations and involved in drug use. He fooled his congregation and his colleagues who were in conferences with him. He also lied when he was first caught. Now, the first indicator was his lying about the situation when he was confronted. My thoughts are that Ted Haggard has a large upkeep in his personal finances. Since his "unsuspected" kicking out of the closet experience, old Ted boy needs to recoup his losses. What to do?
Hit the old talk show road. Maybe write a book? Sister, I do believe you can see clearly.
Hope Ted finds an Apostolic altar and gets the Holy Ghost, and gets baptized in Jesus name
