IMO, for every 10 people who use topical applications of cosemtics to mitigate some troubling facial appearance (causing them distress when they are in public), there are 200 who apply these masking techniques to enhance what [they believe] 'others' will see as beauty belonging to the wearer.
The persons involved in these applications do not feel appropriately presented (acceptable) without the addition of some daily artwork afixed to their countenance.
I am saddened for those who must run on this hamster wheel all the days of their public life, but I guess a lot of folks thoroughly enjoy every hour involved in this decorating effort.

This is so true!! I was in the cosmetic industry before getting in church. I can attest to the fact that I was very tired - sick and tired - of the pressure put on women to "have" to enhance their looks!!!!
We do that we do these things for ourselves - BUT - in all actuality, we are pressured into it by the subliminal media and society. That is my opinion.
I get very offended by men that say, and that includes those on this forum (

) that some women need work.
Well, honey - you ain't married to her - so mind your own business.
Okay, I feel better. Have a nice day!
