Oh yeah, air conditioning. This experiment, living with no electricity, will have to wait till October, or so.

BTW, our new house, built in 2006, is twice as big as our old one (built in the 70s), but our summer electric bill is actually less now. Better insulation and more efficient a/c units make a huge difference.
