So then, what were we to do? Some new sisters in the church brought their oldest sister to church. The oldest had been suffering as I described. Should the pastor have stood at the door and and turned her away until the family could find a jaw, tongue and the associated musculature, nerves and circulatory systems for her?
Would you have told her and her family that there was simply no way she could be saved?
Her heart and her mind were all "there." She was functioning otherwise, intelligent and she was even still pretty despite the gauze and bandages around her neck.
So, if someone in this condition shows up at your church - you have not Gospel for them? Is that the case?
This isn't even an argument over what the Gospel is - it comes down to the fact that you don't have a Gospel for everyone.
