So then, what were we to do? Some new sisters in the church brought their oldest sister to church. The oldest had been suffering as I described. Should the pastor have stood at the door and and turned her away until the family could find a jaw, tongue and the associated musculature, nerves and circulatory systems for her?
Would you have told her and her family that there was simply no way she could be saved?
Her heart and her mind were all "there." She was functioning otherwise, intelligent and she was even still pretty despite the gauze and bandages around her neck.
So, if someone in this condition shows up at your church - you have not Gospel for them? Is that the case?
This isn't even an argument over what the Gospel is - it comes down to the fact that you don't have a Gospel for everyone.

Argument about what the Gospel is? The Gospel is a narrow road with a very tight entrance. Over the course of human history, it will be a few that enter in that portal. Once, we get understanding of that bit of information, we might just take this thing with a little more focus.
Brother Dave, I didn't write the books of the Bible, but the more I study and the more I learn, I come to find out that life is short, and there is a lot contained in the Book. Can tongueless people speak in tonngues? That would have to be answered by asking the question, can the blind see, the deaf hear, and the dumb speak? Can they?
In Jesus name
