Personally, I don't find praying a prayer to Mary to be in sync with Christianity. If those in heaven can see us and look down on us, does not mean we start praying to them. We have one mediator between God and man. We have one Savior. We worship one God.
If people want to start a worship club with their favorite apostle/saint/elder, I definitely believe it's not within the framework of what Jesus established. It's back to religion of old.
