A very robust point and incredibly true. Never in New testament scripture is it approved, supported or indegionous that the Apostles, disciples or believers prayed to the dead or fellow saints for intercession on their behalf. Jesus Chirst is the mediator as written in Timothy saying, "For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" ( 1Timothy 2:5). And again it is written, "And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant..." ( Hebrews 12:24). However Sam I most definitely support your praying for others and I thank you for allowing yourself to be used of God.
