He did.
He mentioned and gave advice on eating meat which had been offered to an idol.
He also told women in Corinth to wear a veil in public because at that time and in that location a woman was considered loose or immoral if she appeared in public without a veil.
In the United States in 2010, neither the food offered to idols nor the veil are relevant but there may be a present day application.
