Actually, Prax, though that sounds logical and can sometimes be true -- if the doctrine has to do with one's salvation, it doesn't flesh out the same.

If you MUST do XYZ to be saved, and Candidate A does not do XYZ, then the theology there is that they will perish. It's not a personal judgement. It's not discounting "i put it in God's hands", etc... it's when the theology (rubber) meets the road.
