I think too much is made of the "keys" being a brand-new message that Peter was destined to give separate of what Jesus had already been teaching. I do believe his was a voice of authority among the early church.
It's how we read Peter's words, and how we discard the remainder of the NT in the process.
Very much a believer in what Peter said, and strongly affirmed by all of the Lukan accounts.
