You sound like you belong to a fairly conservative congregation though. How is it that this church does not feel like yours no longer preaches the truth?

Good question, I have often wondered myself. I guess I need to go to one of their services and see. I think its because we don't shout every service on every word. I have asked my daughter, who has went several times, what the differences are. She said they will shout and jump at the drop of a hat. but its strange because she got the Holy Ghost and was baptized in UPC and they haven't asked her to be rebaptized or refilled so apparently we speak enough truth to be saved but not enough to stay saved, lol.

One of the guys went to UPC senior camp this past year, they said the pastor called him out and told him to sit down because he was taking a lap around the church on about every other line out of the preachers mouth.

But you are right, just as all UPC's churches are not the same, I'm sure not all WPF churches are the same. But you know how it is around here, you belong to an org and you get stereotyped.
