Re: Christians and Muslims Unite against porn
I'm all for liberty. Hotels provide this form of entertainment because people want it. Should I urge the CEO of a book store chain not to sell adult books and magazines simply because it offends my sensibilities??? Why not just... choose not to buy the stuff? No one forces the materials on anyone that I am aware of.
I'm also leery of the Islamic motive here. You see... Islam is becoming a growing force in the United States. Soon Muslims will begin forming larger and larger political action committies. We've seen how foregin countries in Europe have faced these bodies and began incorporating Islamic law in their legal codes to satisfy the Islamic citizens. I've often warned that if we tear down the walls dividing church and state... the Muslims are waiting in the shadows to let their voice be heard. For this reason, I've become a STRONG supporter of the separation of church and state. Don't get too cozy with Muslims. Not all of them are as pure in their motive as we think. If this "friendship" becomes comfortable it will extend into the political realm and we might see religious law becoming more and more prevalent in America.
