Yes I would have been opposed to fighting Nazi Germany. I know the reason you asked me this question so that you can make me look like one of the bad guys. I do not think standing up for peace and logical debate is a bad thing though.
Most US citizens were isolationist. The President at that time was doing everything in his power to get us in the war. Later the presidents letters were released, the letters he sent to other leaders prove this.
This is what pro war people always do. They want to talk endlessly about WW2 but never mention WW1.
What happened in WW1? Two small nations got into a fight. Instead of letting them battle it out Everybody decided to pick a side. So millions of soldiers died for something that was not a global problem.
