But you miss the deal of baggage. the concept is not an issue of logic, but one thing leads to another and now you have Catholics who Mary mothered God, and therefore Mary must have been sinless and did not need the cross, and the next thing you know people are talking to Mary during prayer more than to The Lord. And that's just ONE avenue.
