I can take what I saw in the many other churches as well.
My main comment was many focus on Baptism and speaking in Tongues.
There needs to be a real conversion at Repentance.
Why the high turnover rate if folks are getting saved in the truth?
Why do churches settle on a 15-20 keep rate?
I know it is because of the shallow way the salvation message is teached...
The new covert has the formula without the why.
That is why the Church I did attend in Oak Creek, Wi for years did have large church growth to almost 1800 members.
A large number of converts were saved by first going through Search for Truth bible studies.
Even those bible studies new how to bring the new convert to the Cross before
Acts 2:38.
What is it in week 8 when they hear about
Acts 2:38.
What if one of those souls were to parish before week 8?
Many would have them start at
Acts 2:38.
That is my point....
