...which is why I originally said that
the biblical basis for preaching/teaching against makeup is very weak --- actually, it's non-existent.
Frankly, I think there are many preachers today who recognize that, but are afraid to offend those who would think they're "removing the old landmarks". However, I think our loyalty needs to be toward the Word of God, not to man's traditions.
