I know what you mean. Some people think that the wilder they get, the more power of God they are feeling. I've seen holes kicked in doors, people jumping into the baptistery, heard of one church that blew a loud bullhorn frequently during worship (weird!). Heard of people running outside and jumping up and down on the hoods of their cars, going so ballistic that people around them got black eyes and busted lips..... yes, that's out there. That's the type of thing that needs to submit to the "decently and in order" mandate.

Yes, I've seen some very odd things when someone was trying to "cast out a demon". Very odd. The devil ended up getting a lot more glory than God did.
