When God spoke to Moses and told him to keep the people away from the mountain, how did Moses know where the mountain started? God doesn't always deal in specifics, but He does give instruction. So, when Moses set up the boundaries, how did he know that set them up right? Well, I don't read about any people that died by touching mountain, so I guess he must've done something right.
In a way, I agree with everyone out there that is saying that we need to study scriptures like this. I have read various articles and commentaries, both for and against long hair on men/women. There are a lot of opinions out there and the only way that you're going to find the truth is to pray before you study such matters and allow God to convict you.
So, I guess what I'm saying is this. You cut your hair and I'll keep mine short. I can't make you believe like I do, but I did want to share my convictions. This is what I believe and I will continue to stand by it. Thanks for the debate though, and I am open to more discussion.

I am not trying to be rude, nor am I trying to belittle your convictions...but this statement is very contradictory to your standards...why is it that you're okay with stating that
1 Cor. 11 is very specific for the women (i.e. uncut = long), but you will not go there for the men when Paul discusses short...
You are leaving the scripture open for the definition for the men, but not for the women....somehow that seems very odd...JMHO
