Yes, However there are stipulations to that.
James 1:6

And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
If you aren't keeping the commandments and doing that which is pleasing in his sight you won't be answered nor if you are doubting. Also, you must fall under Jesus name, go unto the "Adoption" of Christ being baptized and take on the name of Christ where all authority is given.
As for the Adam and Eve deal, didn't God create us in his image and his likeness, with no knowledge of evil or satan or demonic triflings, and we know from multiple verses that the wages of sin are death AND that all sickness and suffering are spiritual in essence (demonic) so therefor when they ate the fruit, it opened a gate they gained a knowledge of evil, those spirits could attack them and in that day their immortality was stripped away from them, and their death did come eventually, didn't mean you would eat it and die, geeze man you realize you just repeated what satan did in the garden... he got them with the same thing, you won't die god was lying.... even after the story your saying, God did lie they didn't die... if that was the case wouldn't that nullify the entirety of the bible?
Also, when God is the one who gave them life in the first place... how is it murder, murder would be unlawfully taking the life of another man.... God created and is the owner of the life to begin with, he can take it back when he wants. Same way if I made a robot I could shut it down whenever I pleased... (I just keep coming with these robot analogies....)
