Both portions of Scripture were spoken to Pharisee. Pharisee that were under the law. A Pharisee that was under the old covenant. Shall we do away with being born again? Because Jesus spoke to Pharisee in both instances ?

The Holy Ghost was not yet given because Jesus was not yet glorified. Thus the words Jesus spoke of in
John 3 concerning the new birth were prophetic in nature. Please don't pretend like you don't get that. Whether the New Covenant actually began at Calvary or Pentecost is irrelevant to that point.

Again either you're playing dumb or I simply cannot articulate a point. I never said Jesus rebuked the Pharisees for tithing. He rebuked them for tithing while ignoring weightier matters of the
LAW. The Law. Did you get that? Are you a gentile under the Law? You know, that Law that sprung from the Old Covenant that was replaced? Hello? Is anyone home?
