If I have to choose between the life of an unborn child or the life of my wife, I will always choose my wife. If that means that an abortion is the way to go, then so be it.
Abortion is not always evil. Allowing my wife to suffer and/or die for my selfish desire to have a kid is more evil than abortion. I could dress it up in the garb of righteousness of "protecting life". But if I am really concerned about protecting life, I wouldn't put my wife's life in jeopardy.
Letting my wife suffer or even die over bringing some kid into the world--- man if it got to be that serious, we'd just adopt.

Again, there are a good percentage of doctors that do not believe there ever is such a decision to be made.
We are ALL nothing more than DNA mass.
Personally, I could not make the choice to throw Grandpa overboard because he is in a wheelchair and percieved to be of lessor value than Grandma.
