One can perish in Hell and suffer for their sins. However, it's the promise of God that he will reconcile all things unto himself. A man may indeed perish into the flames...but God reconciles. That's how UR believes it as I understand it. God is love. It's fair to ask; what loving father would torture the vast majority of his children who never heard of him...forever? What would be the purpose of endless torture, God's pleasure? And if it doesn't please God to torture the vast majority of his creation, why does he do it when he can adequately punish and reconcile said creation through the cross?
