I would have to make some tough decisions to be sure. My first concern would be to the ones that were victimized. I would make sure they got counseling and therapy from a certified and respected therapist.
The 14 year old would have to answer for what he did and be removed from unsupervised contact with those he took advantage of in addition to facing punishment legally and some intense therapy.
Whether I am liberal or conservative makes no difference here. All it does is add to the "My side is better than yours" narrative.
